I also have a major problem with this, but for a reason.
Many many years ago when I was on a provisional licence and still learning to drive my parents were away for the night and I thought I’d go for a sneaky secret drive. I was speeding very fast on a bendy road around Scotstown that I didnt know when it started to absolutely lash rain. Thunder, lightning, everything.
This shite comes on the radio. I hear the first few bars and immediately decide “fuck this shit” and start fiddling with the radio. I take my eyes off the road for a brief second and in that brief second I drive through a stop sign, narrowly between two trees, through a wooden fence and into some guy’s front lawn. There was nothing to do except reverse out again and trundle home with two flat tires and the front bumper hanging off.
I’ve never had any time for Brian Adams since.
