BBC Sports Personality of the Year

A handy one for Mo.

Anthony Joshua will win it this year.

I’ve just had €25 on Harry Kane at 40/1, the handiest grand I’ll ever win.

Lewis will win it

Lewis or darling AJ

Winners by sport table.

Athletics 17
F1 7
Tennis 6
Football 5
Boxing 5

The footballers that won it,
Bobby Moore in 66 after he brought them to a World Cup win.
Gascoigne in 90 after he starred in the World Cup
Owen in 98 after he starred in the World Cup
Beckham in 01 after he qualified England with the late free against Greece
Giggs in 09 for what was basically a lifetime achievement award

Only Beckham and Giggs have won it in non World Cup years. Beckham for his redemption story & brand, Giggs for his longevity. Not sure 'Arry is there yet. Harry for the 2018 prize after he fires England into a QF knockout (probably to Argentina) would be a better bet.

If there wasn’t a cloud over Farah he’d be a great bet.

Did Bobby hand it back after he was found out to be a thief?

He would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for that blasted meddling dog pickles

The bracelet dude, the bracelet.

The other thing that could hinder his chances is that he has the personality of a used tampon.

Phil Foden, young sportsman of the year, things are just getting better and better for Manchester City, it really was an inspired choice to start supporting them on my behalf

Tremendous production values here, Sir Mo now, Britain’s greatest ever athlete

ah this is wonderful, some montage

Mo’s young lad ruining his interview

You’d expect a better caliber of winner than the Eire counterpart - a bit part player from relegation candidates West Bromwich Albion.

It will be Joshua.

Mo the druggie wins. Cant believe it. Joshua didnt even get in the top 3.
