We manured as a nation that day.
What I found funny about that was that there was an assumption as Hayes was a farmer that he was a big GAA man.
The France match before was his first time in Croke Park.

I wouldn’t think that would be that unusual?
If I recall correctly he put down his biggest regret was losing an underage hurling game in the match with programme of a European cup final or something like that. Maybe it was a six nations game.
He played for Bruff anyway. All the same to me.
In rugby
Never heard of him playing gah. Is he a left footer?
