and, because I couldn’t bet against Ireland, I’ve backed us to lose agin the germans at evens

Don’t disagree with the Spain and Germany calls Juhniallio - in fact I think Spain at 6/4 is a cracking bet. I have a feeling the Scottish bubble may burst though. I saw footage of McFadden opening up a new section of the Scottish Football Museum dedicated to the win against France the other day. Then the team videoing a new song etc etc. Think they might get bitten but have it down for a draw.
Germay at 11/10 i got, with a deep sadness in my heart I have to say I hope the Germans win.
Spain are cracking value. I’d be a tad reluctant on the Scots with Hartley out but they’re decent value at home.
Hartley and Fletcher are out. Think they’ll struggle in the centre of midfield unless Scotty Brown can carry Ferguson.
I have a slightly dodgy feeling about Scotland too. My chief hope though is that an pretty much dead Ukraine fail to show up. An early goal would settle scottish nerves. Let’s hope that Tartan genius Ferguson performs, in a way that Giggs or Best never could.
I think Fletcher being out for them is no bad thing. Brown is a better player than Fletcher and him and Ferguson would make a good pairing imo. Hartely being out is obvioulsy a hinderance but they could put Maloney wide on the right with Brown central.
