The Links recounting of the trip to Leinster house with the local FF supporters club was gas altogether. I think they stopped in an “atein” on the way home for pints and grub, probably The Lord Bagenal inn or somewhere like that, I must look that one up. He had a great affection for the local characters and could quote them to his hearts content
A great story. If i have it correct they stopped for porter that morning in a few places and some of the old Biddy’s on the bus were cross as fuck.
They drank porter in Leinster house and one of the TDs stood a round and they drank more on the way home.
