Best GAA Footballer from Each County

Cluxton has ridden on the coat tails of the fluidity and mobility of the Dublin team for far too long

Cluxton is the tap from which the fluidity flows.

Not to take from Seamus Quinn, Declan Darcy or the Honeymonster, but Mickey Quinn was the best Leitrim footballer of the past 30 years without a doubt. Cognisance must be taken of the fact that Mickey was in his winter days when we reached Croke Park and whatever our differences in the meantime, I’m reluctant, nay loathe to allow his qualities, loyalty and heroic deeds go un-noticed here. TDB, FITC and MF can concur or fuck off…

My avatar, the great Packy, still remains the best man to ever wear the green and gold.

Depends on your age. If you remember Curly Prendergast, then Beano would have to make way. Class footballer was Curly.

Great call KC…The worth of Blue here is evident…

I doubt Farmer would have remembered Curly Kid, hence the post. There’s no comparison between Joe, Tom and Beano. Joe was a great competitor, Tom was a savage athlete but Beano was Beano, he had it all, the man oozed class from a young age and fulfilled the potential as well, even with the injuries.

I liked Curly, but it was always Irwin for me from that era btw.
