Decent half. Not completely dominant but two great goals and we continue to look dangerous, while they continue to look too open defensively.
Lots of slipping out there and Maddison in particular looks sharp on the ball so we’re not completely safe at 2-0 but the more they go forward, the more vulnerable they should be to our breaks. We sometimes have a tendency to go deep against Aberdeen when they push forward and we need to avoid that. They have good crossers of the ball and a few lads who are more than capable in the air. Keep the game stretched like this and they won’t find a way back in.

We played nice football for a couple of minutes before that goal. Just got a hold of the game again and slowly but surely opened them up.
Roberts hasn’t really kicked on as I hoped he would. He started the season very strongly but missed a few weeks with a hamstring injury in August / September and hasn’t rediscovered that form.
Brilliant from Forrest and a huge chance for Armstrong. Poor miss.
