Missed this the first time around but been watching the repeats of the series lately.
I can’t believe Staunton picks that Sean St Ledger chap for Ireland. An absolute despicable character just going around sulking, whingeing and moaning on the training ground. I can’t believe there’s not better Irish qualified defenders than this lad…although, who knows? Pat Devlin could be his agent (like Alan O’Brien).
Barry Fry is some entertainment. Big Ron and himself are pure entertainment as is the battle weary caretaker manager, Steve Bleasdale. If you’re after excellent reality television then this is it. Funny as fook.
