I could never fathom people who write into that paper regularly. Fills column inches I suppose.
Thrawneen I think it was who had a neighbour with hundreds of publications to his name. Itâs as rational as tweeting I suppose.
Think I remember that guy whoâd had a ton of stuff published. Mostly giving out yards about inconsequential stuff. I prefer to put the feet up in the evenings rather than writing letters about the metric system, Iâm not Leagues OâToole like. Writing letters doesnât keep me interested fur long.
Anyone here ever actually write into a National newspaper and have a letter published?

I had one in the Irish Times in 2006.
Itâs the neighbour of a friend of mine who writes in all the time. He had another one in on Saturday, I think it was. He has about 300 at this stage. Short, witty things usually. I think he composes them in his head while working and polishes them up in the pub afterwards.
