Disgusting officiating at Eden Park, but hardly any great surprise. Rugby Union is as corrupt as any sport in the world when it comes to facilitating the gameās number 1 brand the New Zealand āAll Blacksā. Its only two years since we had that utter farce of a World Cup Final where Craig Joubert refused to award France about 5 stone wall scoreable penalties for persistent New Zealand infringements, any one of which would have turned Franceās 7-8 defeat into a victory.
Thereās no more disgusting outfit in any sport than the New Zealand rugby team and everything that goes with them.

Poite is also laughably seen as the " scrum guru" Heās a fkn moron.[/quote]
If a yellow was given every time someone did that itād be even more of a farce of a sport than it already is rules wise.
If Messam hadnāt have gone down then nobody would have blinked an eye.
Chatting to the ref after my game today and he reckoned the first tackle on Carter was a stone cold yellow and that BdP wrapped his arms after the hit. Itās a broad church ā¦
You had another referee who clearly hasnāt a clue.
South African hooker Bismarck du Plessis is unlikely to face further punishment for his offences against the All Blacks after the International Rugby Board (IRB) admitted French referee Romain Poite made an āunfortunateā mistake.
Du Plessis was sent off early in the second half after a second yellow card offence during their 29-15 loss to New Zealand in a Rugby Championship Test in Auckland on Saturday.
However, following a review of the incidents, the IRB has deemed that Poite was incorrect to issue a yellow card to du Plessis for the first incident in the 17th minute.
In a statement, the IRB said Poite had accepted the tackle on All Blacks fly half Dan Carter, which forced the star off the field with a shoulder injury, was within the laws of the game.
āJust as players and coaches make mistakes, the decision was an unfortunate case of human error by the match officials, who, having reviewed the match, fully recognise and accept that they made a mistake in the application of law,ā the statement said.
There was no comment about the second offence, an elbow to the neck of All Blacks flanker Liam Messam.
Du Plessis is to appear before a SANZAR judicial hearing on Tuesday.

Yep - donāt worry, that was fairly obvious from the game. He rode us the first half and then in the second completely changed tack, gave us a penalty try, multiple penalties and gave a couple of their players yellow cards,
It was a great match in the first half too. Habana was a huge loss for South Africa. They may yet rue that try for AIG Team New Zealand in first half injury time.
Iād like to see the Springboks win the tournament.
Exciting stuff but the defending has been appalling. You just wouldnāt see it in the Northern hemisphere. More New Zealand cheating. Ben Franks sin binned.
Exciting finish here between New Zealand and South Africa. South Africa pressing hard for a win with three minutes left. 14-10 New Zealand at the moment.
