Is Icy still gone from twitter ?

He was back for about 24 hours during the week but account suspended again.

This is why its needed to bring in affordability checks. Bookies self regulation only leads to ruined lives cause they’re greedy bastards. IMO, they should be in the courts alongside this poor lady

Got this from Quinn bet, forgot I even had an account with them. This is wrong imo and seriously goes against what the limits are trying to achieve

We have upgraded our Deposit Limit feature.

The new Net Deposit Limit works on a net calculation and not a gross calculation. A net calculation considers both deposits and withdrawals, so you can now redeposit withdrawn winnings without it counting towards your limit for your chosen period. If you reach your net limit, you will be unable to add any more funds to your account until the time period has elapsed.

Think most bookies have that feature and its fair enough.

It actually encourages you to withdraw as if you ger close to your deposit limit in any given month you are likely to just leave the money sitting in the betting account?

I would think it’s more, you’ve had a winning month, we aren’t let you away with that you degenerate fuck. Give it back to us

You’ve got a problem. You’ve set the limits to €50 a month.
You finally get lucky and make €300. So you take the €250 and “bank it” and try again with the €50 you left behind, it’s going well sure and you’ve €200 profit locked away.
You lose that €50, then you think, ah sure I’ll put another €50 in, that’s the bookies money, I’ll still be up €150. Etc etc etc

Then you’ve lost it all.

They aren’t changing it for the goodness of their hearts. They know they’ll take more money off people this way

Maybe its the optimist in me but if i deposit my limit of 250 and turned it into 500 within a week Id like to be able to withdraw that 500 and still be able to deposit 50 again the following weekend to take the bookies to the cleaners again.

He’d lay a bet

Can you post up the article as it’s behind a paywall? In the photo they’re all posing like a winning lotto syndicate, is this a happy occasion for Collins?

The independents will all be extinct any day now if they’re not all gone already from this shore. I also don’t know how the track bookmakers do it. I was at both Listowel and Tipperary races in the last month and there’s on course men who appear to be doing minuscule business, especially if you haven’t a prominent pitch. There’s a lot of outlay involved in standing and time/effort, it’d want to pay a living for all the effort driving to some of these shit holes and standing around all day, eating chips at racecourses daily or out of petrol stations. Also the “clerk?” men have gone for most bar the guys with the best pitches, the chaps controlling the computer and changing the odds in behind.

Can you post that up?

Is Collins on course as well? He’s hardly leaving the industry altogether he’s probably all his adult life working in and around bookmaking.

No, not sure he ever stood on course much. It was mainly p2ps he stood at. Supposedly has or had a decent private bookmaking service so maybe that’s easier to keep tipping away at without the associated costs of running a shop.

Alright kid… welcome back…
That’s some article… the delusion is off the charts!
