There’ll be no on course bookmakers within 10 years I’d say. Numbers reducing all the time.

Most of them would lay on Betfair would they?

10 years ago in listowel you’d have had the 4 sides of the ring and another 7 or 8 facing the seated stand. Today the ring was less than 3/4 full.

Racecourses don’t want them there either.

The poor 3g reception on a busy day is all that keeps them

The official SP is based on ring prices. That can’t last much longer.

And ring prices are based on the exchanges
