Boxing II

Maybe. Youā€™d never quite know what heā€™ll do. Fight Jake Paul for money or konor.
I donā€™t think the money interests him as much as the titles.

Oh I agree re Joshua entirely.
His best chance is the beat usyk by hook or by crook and set up a superfight.

If Joshua loses to Uysk wouldnā€™t be surprised if he retires before facing Fury. Heā€™s not a warrior and doesnā€™t love the game while heā€™s made a few bob. Eddie Hearn will want to monetise him for as long as possible however.

A lot harder to sell if he loses again.

Wouldnā€™t imagine much discernable difference between eitherā€™s punches when itā€™s a civilian taking the dig. Your bell is being rang at maximum either way

Joshua is no great, but heā€™s far from a civilian.

He doesnā€™t seem like a guy who wants to retire. Heā€™s really young in boxing terms, he took it up really late. As a result heā€™s way behind technically. Thereā€™s a clear pattern now where if he comes up against a better boxer he loses every time. He can probably beat most guys but highly unlikely he can beat Fury or Usyk. He probably thinks he can still improve a lot still and he might not be wrong there either. If he goes back to trying to overwhelm opposition with power he probably has equal chance of knocking someone out or being knocked out, either way itā€™s exciting. That and heā€™s still a big money draw so thereā€™s a good bit to be knocked out of his career yet.

Lennox Lewis looked awkward for the first 2/3 of his boxing career imo.

Thought you were talking about which youā€™d prefer mix it with!

Joseph Parker would be a serious challenger if he could go up another gear. Anytime Iā€™ve see him box he just doesnā€™t seem bothered. Seems to just go through the motions. Pity as Heā€™s got a great chin and is very talented

Anthony Johnson is the biggest fraud to ever step foot in a ring

Talk that Whyte fight pulled due to poor ticket sales. Big mistake from Fast Eddie leaving the Sky Sports hype machine.

Why have you got a samurai sword with Randy Jacksonā€™s autograph springs to mind.

Good insight into McGuigan here and how he works

Conlan to get a world title fight against Leigh Wood. Heā€™d be fav for that Iā€™d assume?

I expect Canelo to win but these odds?

What are the odds?

Canelo Alvarez - 1/10

Caleb Plant - 6/1

Draw - 25/1
