I think Kessler will look back with regret on that fight, particularly the first three rounds in which he gifted to Froch, you could excuse the first one but he let it fester for another two rounds before he started to move and avoid the jab. You have to box against Froch, it’s pointless and futile slugging it out with him, he is so heavy handed, tough and fit that there’s only one winner. When Kessler slugged it with him in the few exchanges he was nearly out, indeed the only time he hurt Froch was on the back foot when Froch got careless.
Very enjoyable fight that. Two very likable guys and nice scenes after it too.
Thought it was called pretty right here. Felt Froch missed more than normal after around round 2-3. Probably could have given 2-3 rounds either way, and Froch definitely win 6. 3 point win maybe. Tough cunts is right.
May have to fight George Groves soon the way things are going. He hasn’t a chance against Ward, but maybe he’d make him suffer a bit more, but that’s all. Ward is so far ahead if everyone it’s a joke, everyone else is playing for 2nd.
Groves looked good tonight, tidy performance. He was talking title shots after his win.
Mayweather will take on Alvarez on the 14th of September. That should hopefully be a cracking fight
He must be broke and forced into fighting the best. This is arguably the toughest fight in years along with Cotto as he is fighting a man in or around his best. If anything it might be a little early for Canalo, but still great match.
