Too cautious. Quillin looks terrible when he’s pressed and has no gas tank at all. Lee is known for having poor stamina and he looked like Carl Froch compared to Quillin.
It’s immaterial anyway. Lee gets to keep his belt and have a nice little earner or two on this side of the Atlantic. Who gives a shit what Quillin does.

Jesus Andy Lee really likes to do it the hard way. Here’s hoping he can overcome Saunders, think he will. Get another decent payday against someone like Eubank Jnr then maybe. Stay the fuck away from Golovkin please.
Golovkin is the biggest fight there is in the middleweight division. If its a pay day he is after thats the fight to take
Does Golovkin command that much money yet? As much as he deserves to I mean. Lee could do much better for himself fighting a few over hyped British fighters like Eubank Jr. maybe.
Golovkin big in the states. Has fought on HBO numerous times. The problem he has is that Cotto, Quillin etc dont want to fight him. Lee would get a 7 figure pay day to fight Golovkin on HBO. Obviously a massive underdog but its a fight that Lee has always said he wants. The fight was made last year but cancelled on account of the death of Golovkins father
Lee having a belt changes the equation for him though. It was a different story when he was coming to the table empty handed. HBO are backing Golovkin in a big way and probably would splash some cash to make Golovkin-Lee. But Lee is smart enough to know the show is most likely over after that fight. The alternatives are a Quillin rematch (if Haymon thinks it’s worth it) or chancing his arm in a UK round-robin. HBO would have to pay him a lot of money to beat those options.
I think Lee will fight in Britain and Ireland and take the cheques. Should do.
