He is definitely stuck in something. That Amatuer world league anyway I think.

Ryle Nugent is at least part of your answer, I’d say. Were the national amateur finals even televised this year?

They’ve been on TG4 for the last few years.

His luck has got to run out some time and I’m the man to take his title. He’s got a lot of miles on the clock, unlike, say, [Gennady] Golovkin, who is still young and fresh as a champion."[/QUOTE]

Golovkin is two years older than Lee

Now we’re on!!!

First round to Matthysse

Nearly a 10-8 round until Provodnikov came strong in the last 20 seconds

Much better from Provodnikov. 2-1 Matthysse with one wrawn I’d say.
Matthysse looks a bit gassed already.
Good fight though

Round 6 for Matthysse. Provodnikovs face is in trouble though,

That’s his defence…

Provodnikov wobbles him in the 11th. Provodnikov will need a knockdown in the last to have any chance.

Great scrap though

Matthysse takes it. Close though 114-114, 115-113, 115-113.

That was pure savagery. Can’t get over how tough Provodnikov is. Ate bombs from one of the biggest punchers in the sport all night and never stopped coming.

Surprised at how close the scorecards were. Thought Lucas won it 8-4 at least.

Wouldn’t disagree but it seems one Judge scored his fighting style and his constant aggression…maybe. That’s not always seen in fairness.

I was impressed with Matthysee, used the ring and jabbed well although easy to do with an opponent with no guard and not dodgin and movin.

Chavez JR was beaten well last night,he needs to go back on the PED’s

Did you see his post-fight interview? Hilarious stuff. Claimed he was winning and that he wants a rematch at 170. He needs to go back to eating cereal in his underwear and leave the boxing to the men who take it seriously.

Great night for Bob Arum though.

By who?
