Floyd took charge in the 8th and never gave up control after that. Manny was doing fine whenever it got to the ropes, but he couldn’t push Floyd out of the centre of the ring consistently enough. Floyd’s reach and his accuracy with the right hand were too much for Manny to overcome. Decent fight, not as good as it could have been but not as bad either.
Cotto at 155 or else one of Haymon’s younger guys.
Cotto has a fight next month so it’s unlikely he’d have that quick a turnaround.
