Itās all long throws and long free kicks.
Like Ulster football. Dour, cynical, full of hammer throwers, but sure everyone can beat each other ![]()
Arsenal now 1/6 on to win it out. Hard to see anyone lose it from here, except maybe Arsenal
According to the pros itās the strongest premier league of all time so thatās probably not a good price.

Itās arsenal and itās a long way out. Laying them better value?
Thereās plenty of clubs could take points off them.
Rice gets injured?
Heās the wet Tuesday night in Stoke man that just gets things done.
Wouldnāt have a clue tbh.
Nick goff was head of football trading for coral or ladbrokes for a long time.
Heās analysing the game on his own for ten years now professionally.
If he says itās the strongest league ever Iād listen to his opinion.
They blurted out some stat on MOTD that none of the top five teams won.
That it hasnāt happened since like 1956 or something.
Itās definitely the strongest overall league ever. The top teams arenāt as strong the top teams in other years though.
Personally I would rather a league where anyone can beat anyone rather than one or two running away with it.
What were the biggest runaway wins where one team just hammered everyone? Would have to be one of the Jose or pep teams.
I always thing the best premier league teams are the outfits who can win the league and the champions league In the same season.
Thatās the ultimate barometer of a great side.
Ya as I said pros seem to think itās the strongest premier league of all time. I probably watch less than five percent of the games.
When was the last time a single club out of all 20 teams couldnāt put 2 wins together? Lads thinking bad results means itās a strong league and using some top gambler as justification ![]()
Weāll have a top tobacco guy on next telling us fags are at their best ever . Why not pick up a 20 pack todayā¦
The standard of football is atrocious.
Weād only have to ask you to find out

If it was a gambler from the far right NFL tipping side group I might give it some credence
Thatās a load of nonsense. Not only are the top teams well down on the standard of other years but throughout the league the standard is down on the equivalents of other years.
Of the seven wealthiest teams - Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Abu Dhabi, Chelsea and the Saudis, six of those are shit compared to previous editions and Arsenal play an utterly lumpen brand of British Army squaddie style football.
This has enabled well managed but deeply average Aston Villa and Sunderland teams to be punching up around the business end of the league.
Of the other 11 teams in the league only Brentford under Bainisteoir Andrews and Everton under beloved football ādinosaurā Moyesie are punching above their weight.
Bearing in mind I donāt watch football, itās the worst season standard wise I can recall since the days when Alan Kernaghan, Francis Benali and Efan Ekoku bestrode the league like collossi. And at least football back then was a bit of craic, which it isnāt now, outside of Celtic, Ireland and the African Cup of Nations at any rate.
That requires a weak domestic league.
Only one team in history has got 90 points or more in the Premier League and won the Champions League in the same season.
how do you quantify it? When was there a higher overall standard of team than this? About ten teams could make top 4 and all the teams are still going in Europe too. The money all the teams have points to a high standard too. They can but best of the rest players from around Europe.
The āstandardā of football in general seems lower without as many great players overall Iād agree with that but maybe weāre just aul lads.
The way the league is this year is the way id want any league I watch to be in terms of the competitiveness.
