Cmon arsenal…still 5pts clear… a win at spuds and the mood changes again…

The strongest premier league of all time won’t be won easy.

Arsenal’s top scorer in the Premier League this season:
7 - Viktor Gyƶkeres
5 - Own Goal
5 - Leandro Trossard

Scholes was right, they would be the worst champions in the worst league epl history.

Arsenal are like Newcastle 1995/96, if Newcastle 1995/96 had had the personality of Father Stone.

I’d have a huge grĆ” for Arsenal as a football Club, but this side does not deseve to win a title playing in the manner they are. Its a disgrace to all thats gone before them. Arteta should never be let near the City job.

City will make everything right.

European manager of the year?

I don’t ever recall the standard as bad. It’s all set pieces now, fouling goalkeepers on set pieces and long throws. The game is gone.

Citeh are not the force of old though and Pep is in the departure lounge. Woolwich will still win it with a bit to spare. They have a nice handy one on Sunday to re-set them at Spurs, against a team and club that are in complete turmoil.

1-0 to the Arsenal is their history and culture. Wenger era was an outlier in this sense. Arteta is gone back to the George Graham and Bertie Mee hard to beat successful teams

A club of Liam Brady and Ray Parlour should not be associated with such culture.

City will still stumble so that might save them more than anything. But there will be a few days where their lack of forwards will hurt them.

Good luck trying to explain George Graham (yet alone Bertie Mee) and the ways of the world to the Sky Sports Super Sunday Paddy Footix generation.

Nobody will convince me that having such an even standard among the teams makes a bad league. It’s ridiculously unpredictable every single match. Wolves are statistically one of the worst teams ever and put it right up the league leaders. AND there were five English teams in the top 16 of the champions league.
There were years man united and man city just absolutely strolled through the weaker teams with grim predicability.
I do agree arsenal are turgid.

Arteta has done some job getting them back competing again but the style of football seems to be getting worse with each passing season. Apparently Fabregas has some unfancied outfit flying it in Italy, if Arteta doesn’t land something big this season there is a readymade replacement.

Jaysus, not sure I’d leave the lovely Lake Como region for grim North London.

Give it Fabregas with Terry Henry as assistant.

All to play for still.

Great to just be competing really
