British Loins Tour to New Zealand 2017 - Official Thread

Calling someone a “Paedo” will generally wind them up.
Chapeau.

And what’s great is that I actually managed to destroy the last 15 minutes of Galway’s Leinster final win for him by doing so.

It’s tremendous to know I actually have this sort of power to make a rural cunt see the red mist when he should be enjoying himself.

What are you sighing over?

The law says you’re wrong
The decision was upheld by Word Rugby after
The player admitted to it being a fine decision

The only people still claiming it wasn’t right are the Welsh.

Sigh.
World rugby were never going to publicly hang a ref out to dry. What would happen then? Calls for a replay? Calls for an extra team in the final? Bertie Aherne to the UN?
Don’t make me laugh.
It’s been agreed above that had it been an Irish player in the same circumstances, the Irish rugby fraternity would have been outraged. (and rightly)
Rolland a. Is a cunt
B. Is a strutting, preening, attention seeking cunt.
C. Is half French, and shouldn’t have been let near that game.
D. Was trying to show what a man he was in an entirely self serving run at getting the final (which was duly handed to the all blacks)

It didn’t.

You have already conceded it was against the rules. You claimed originally it wasn’t against the rules, it was. WR even put a protocol out there pre tournament about tackles like that and as @gilgamboa mentioned, others were penalised.

In the past World Rugby have overturned cards after the game is finished. WR banned him for 3 weeks. It was against the rules, was on the bad side and he was banned.

I already said the Irish would have acted like children over it *another point you were wrong about, the Welsh not losing their shit over it). That is neither here nor there though as regards the rules.

That is a lot of hatred over a guy.

Such an odd conspiracy. He was doing his job, he followed the rules and what he was told to do over player safety pre tournament.

Facts are not on your side here but you seem to be running on emotion. Your liking of Gatland and odd hatred of Rolland.

I’ve put the rule up there Tim.
I didn’t chop off the last sentence

incredible scenes

Where were you sitting, kid?

Looks a lively spot

Irrelevant.

Just had a look at this as it’s a criticism thrown at Ireland around the win in Chicago.

Front row- same props started in Chicago and last weekend. Ireland faced Dane Coles at hooker. He is injured for this series and a country mile better than his replacement.

2nd row- lions faced far stronger first choice pairing who both missed the Irish game through injury

Back row- Cane and read started both games. kaino played in 2nd row v Ireland and in back row at weekend.

Half backs- same pairing played both games

Centre- neither centre was sent off in chicago. SBW and Lienert Brown vs Crotty and Moala in Chicago.

Wings- Savea and Naholo started in chicago. Hansen gave up the 2nd most scoring all black for the 20 year old ione for the lions game.

Full back-GOAT contender Ben Smith played in chicago and Izzy Dagg plaued last weekend

5 of the subs were the same

So from Chicago the all blacks have lost Coles, Savea, crotty, Smith and replaced them with lesser players by and large. 2nd string in Chicago I think not

Maybe it’s time to move on from Chicago Gil?

Its less than a year ago pal im going to string another few months out of it at least. I was curious as to how strong this all blacks side is really. Missing a few key players. Coles is a huge loss

but italy only started playing rugby a few years ago and have randomers like Luke Maclean playing for them, some irish fella called Ian Mckinley was blinded playing rugby and has now decided he is also Italian.
Limerick have been playing hurling a lot longer and even won the thing in the 70s, the comparison is not valid

The thing is the All Blacks actually got very lucky with injuries for years. It’s only the last year where they’ve seemed to not have a full deck as much.

We all know what you are getting at here.

Not what you think/want. I reckon it’s simply another way they’re ahead of the pack. Ken Quarrie seems to the best in the world at what he does. It seems like hammer and groin type injuries are going down generally but more pronounced with them for a while. I’d love to see stats on the changing nature of injuries.

Do they play rugby football in Foynes, mate?

Limerick are on about the same level in hurling now as Italy are in rugby.

Given that Limerick have, as you say, much more of a historical tradition in hurling than Italy have in rugby, that makes it doubly damning for Limerick and for hurling.
