Matthew Goodwin lost the Gorton and Denton by-election.
He has a “book” out (shure don’t all these Nazi fake academics). This book has been getting absolutely panned lately, much like Eoin Lenihan’s “book” (booky wooky).
Goodwin’s first problem is he has an immediately dislikeable and extremely dour and angry looking face. His second problem is he is a grifting liar.
Goodwin increasingly looks like damaged goods and somebody in the middle of a Gemma O’Doherty style meltdown.
Now GB News, which actually employs him as a presenter, has aired a “debate” segment where another of their correspondents eviscerated him and his book. He properly went for Goodwin and made a fool of him.
I would imagine there was an element of Farage-directed ambush about this and Goodwin will soon no longer be working for GB News and will drift further and further into fringe lunatic ideas.
There might be a market for him in America though.

I’d say not only did Keir know about Mandelson’s links to Epstein, he appointed him because of them.
He needed someone to try and handle Trump, which was never going to be an easy task

At least in good old Blighty a link to Epstein can bring down a career whereas in the USA Epstein probably saw multiple Presidents nosh each other off with no consequence

I see it’s just fine for The Times to publish anti-Semitic cartoons to demonise Zack Polanski.
Just as it was fine for the Daily Mail to publish anti-Semitic stereotypes about Ed Miliband when he was leader of the Labour party.
But obviously none of this supposed concern about anti-Semitism is actually about anti-Semitism, it’s about protecting Israel, not Jews, in fact Jews are some of the favourite targets for demonisation.
There’s a scutching incoming for Labour and the Tories in the council elections.
There’s 5,046 seats in play and the former big two are defending about 3,900 of them.
There’s a guy here that might be Clinton Morrison waffling about change.
