Apparently the loi and division 1 are only there so ireland can field a international team as it is required via UEFA.

They would have clubs in the Europa league and champions league qualifying rounds just like in NI Wales ect.
However there is a team of lesser abilities who may sneak through to the group stages every few years.
Jack would not be interested in going back to england.
He made a few pound across the water and is happily settled in ballybough.
There has to be relegation or else you canāt enter Europe to stop franchise type setups.
