Arsenal huffing and puffing to no great effect here.

Newcastle are a seasoned enough outfit now. Really good performance tonight

They’ve done nothing since they got the second goal but I don’t think Dubravka has had a save to make yet this half

What’s the story with Lego head spunking £40m & £50m on back up defenders but refusing to spend money on strikers & flair players? Arsenal will surely sack him soon.

I thought they were a lot better last season at working the ball through low block defences but they had no ideas tonight. Everything out to the sides to cross or cut back with no attempt at all to dribble or play to feet on the edge of the box. It was meat and drink for Newcastle for the most part.

I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by that Calafiori fella. A few Italian experts on here had him hyped up as the next big thing during the Euros. A completely unnecessary signing for Arsenal really.

It’s opening up for Big Ange. Always wins a trophy in his second season.

No Saka no cutting edge , especially with how negative they are told to play. That Havertz is beyond woeful

£750 million Lego man has spent to turn them into a glorified Wimbledon 1980’s style with no striker.

Big game at White Hart Lane tonight. Should be a shoot out between two footballing teams. Spurs need is greater. Home win

The games come thick and fast this time of year.

We’re now into the realms of ‘Big Ange always wins a trophy in his second season’. It’s a bit like Spurs win the Cup when the Year ends in a 1, albeit that hasn’t happened since 1991. We’ll probably win something like 2-1 against a depleted Liverpool side tonight. Big Ange will buy himself at least another 4 weeks until the second leg, which we’ll lose by 4 or 5 at Anfield.

Spurs are dangerous tonight despite the bookies price. Liverpool have a problem down the right in the press in that Salah doesn’t and Trent is mind fucked. I’m hoping the young blondie lad starts in midfield and has a Stormer, hopefully Son and Madders too.

Some shine off slots head

This looks bad for Bentancur

If Spurs had ducks they’d drown, he’s probably their best all round midfielder

That ground wouldn’t have much give in it you’d feel

If City get demoted and the ffp craic is actually enforced against the big teams, Spurs are probably in the best place of anyone with their training ground and stadium generating revenue. Levy could be a genius again yet like in 2019 for UCL final. Ultimately, tis all about players.

They’re afraid to move this chap, must be bad
