Which city has the better architecture anyway?I’d like to think it’s Cork but im open to be proven wrong!
Tassotti i will try and reply to in a more mature manner than i did the last time!I think Cork city centre is very nice.I like it’s mixture of quaysides big long streets and narrow laneways.I do like the way Limerick city centre is layed out and organised though and O’Connell Street and Henry street are very long streets.Limerick city centre is structured in a more organised fashion than Cork city centre.
Again i like Cork Citys mix of the quaysides big long streets and small laneways.I do like the really long one way traffic streets that Limerick has though.Cork and Limerick are two completely different cities really.In fairness you have a point and a famous writer described Cork as a bit higgledy piggledy and thrown together!I think Cork is a very unique city in the sense that it’s architecture is completely different from that of Limerick and Dublin.
I was hoping this would generate more debate.I’d like to have an active discussion about which city centre is better Corks or Limericks!
Apart from the Wexford crew this site is populated by boggers mate. All they care about is road frontage.
