Catchphrase King

This thread is intended for anyone looking from a bit of light relief from all the political wrangling and to stir up a few rows.

Who’s the catch phrase king of this place? ie who has ‘coined’ the most little phrases/words that are used regularly by lads on here?

Examples include; alright sort, noble, thinly veiled. Haven’t come up with any myself as I’m a nonentity.

The ‘coiner’ will be deemed to be the man who can show a post of his with the first usage of the particular term. ie earliest date used.
Whoever has ‘coined’ the most will be deemed the funniest cunt on here.

The puke started the use of the word ‘noble’ to describe anything you like, not a fan of it myself but it’s widespread. Bandage’s often ironic use of ‘Ah, that’s lovely’ caught on as well.

on the ball butty you’ll find is mine…

I think might have been the Minister who came up with ‘more titrots shite’ which in the light of current events is as relevant as ever.

Puke popularised ‘ball hop’ as well but to be fair he stole that from Marty Morrissey.

Kevving is probably the best one I came up with. Barrup is another.

Puke started using ‘lambasted’ in every second post before Christmas. It didn’t catch on because it was shit.

Who came up with jog on? One of the better ones imo.

Danny Dyer

Using ones like jog on which were popularised in films, tv and popular culture in general do not count.

I was using this long before anyone else did. WTB is right though Danny Dyer is a culprit alright

Ah lovely surely?

Possibly. Both are in use.

I am currently trial running the comment “yeah, good one” as opposed(or accompanying) to the rolleyes smilie to stupid come backs, seems to be going well so far

Yeah, good one.

that’s an awful lambasting you are after giving me

MBB is making an unashamed bid for ‘boom goes the dynamite’ to earn him his first TFK catchphrase.
Not for me.

Not a catchphrase

I brought the term " a few handy ones/pints" to the board and Farmer brought the term " A few easy ones"
