I was touched and engaged in conversation yesterday evening by Amanda Brunker.
There was a heavy downpour in Dublin at c.18.45 while I was standing at the pedestrian crossing at the top of Kildare Street near The Shelbourne Hotel (heading away from town).
Anyway, I was sheltering under my gentlemanās umbrella when a lady shuffled under it too and nudged me. I glanced at her and she smiled and said āHope you donāt mindā.
I realised it was Amanda Brunker. She was wearing a black dress and was holding a coat up over her head, presumably to keep her hair dry. We engaged in some small talk before walking across when the āgreen manā appeared.
She retired into The Shelbourne Hotel possibly to meet Barry Egan or someone and I continued on my merry way.

@Spidey, no mention of Bono. No mention of anything other than weather really. Amanda remarked that we canāt really complain about winter downpours given the lovely weather in September. I agreed with her opinion/observation.

[QUOTE=āthedancingbaby, post: 1048104, member: 48ā]Who - Michael OāLeary
Famous For - Being CEO of Ryanair
Where - Flyefit Gym, Airside
When - This morning 07.30 - 08.30
Iām not going to classify this as a spot, as the spotee was working. Myself and Mrs Fitzy were invited to an advance screening of the first episode of The Missing with BBC First last night in Sydney, attended by the star, James Nesbitt. The show itself was a bit meh I thought, but Nesbitt at the QA session was good, starting many sentences with āFuck, butā¦ā. Got talking to him afterwards, he was telling me he is a great admirer of Billy Roche Nice chap. He was wearing a beautifully tailored grey suit.
Watching The Missing at the moment. Good show, but a bit difficult to tell at times if they are in the present or the past. Ok the detective has a beard and a limp and the wife has dyed her hair, but other than that itās very confusing.
