guys, set up a seperate thread if you want to whine about my leadership role but dont pollute this fine thread with your nonsensical bitching.

otherwise,fall in
There is already a continuity thread for those who disagree with GGA players being spots

Take your leadership role over there, I’m sure it will be a roaring success. All the best.

Ger Power is the son of a Hurling man. He is ok.

Lovely so.

Ger Power = GAA legend not GAA star by the way

Live Spot.

I am sitting on Emirates flight 161 from Dubai at Dublin Airport waiting to reach the terminal. Padraig Harrington and Shane Lowry are both sitting in business class. Padraig clearly delighted after winning over the weekend and Shane enjoyed watching Elf during the flight.

I was returning from a month long trip to Oz and SE Asia that combined a business trip and some holidays.

EG?

Who: Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch
Famous for: One for being one of the biggest media owners and most infleuntial people in the world, the other for being his son
Where: Rockpool Bar and Grill, Hunter St, Sydney
When: Today, from about 12.30pm
Wearing: Both wearing dark suits with white open collar shirts
Circumstances: I was out for a Christmas lunch with clients, as we received our starters, Rupert and Lachlan walked in and sat at the table beside us, joined by a female (who I believe is the editor of a News Ltd publication) and two other gentlemen. I couldn’t catch much of the conversation, but it seemed to centre on the siege in Sydney this week and media reaction to it. Lachlan seems a bit dim and Rupert cut him off on more than one occasion. Rupert had a salady kind of thing and Lachlan a steak. They drank two bottles of Rose. One of my companions tried to surrepitiously take a selfie with the back of Ruperts head, which was quite funny, the Maire D’ did not seem impressed. Rupert actually looks very well for a man of his age, unfortunately.
(I had the pork belly and squid starter and a grass fed rib eye fillet, with a decent glass of south australian shiraz, thanks for asking). I also had a pleasant conversation with Ray Martin (TSG will know who this is), a TV journalist, in the jacks.

…as long as it wasn’t a business meeting.
