Very disappointing to see @The Selfish Giant crack to pressure like thisâŚ
A farmeresque climbdown
Guys, the golden rule is that its the poster not the spot that matters,i forgot this momentarily due to my hatred of rugby
No chance youâd ever momentarily forget your hatred of posters
Who? Rebecca Adlington, double Olympic gold medal winner.
Rebecca was sat on a park bench looking cold, tired and fairly heavily pregnant watching the open water swim at Salford quays at 0800 this morning. I proferred her a cheery âMorning Rebeccaâ, and asked if she was down spotting the talent.
She informed me that her husband was swimming.
I asked if she still swam at all, to which she replied that she did, but she wouldnât expose any foetus to Salford Docks. She was quite right in this, although it was nice to see a large shoal of fish whilst swimming today. She seemed a very nice lady, though sheâd surely have been wiser to stay in bed.
I canât be bothered to find the fitness thread, however, I was pleased with 5.5 k in 1 hour 34 mins.
It was 13.9 degrees in the water.
I was still fucking freezing toward the end of the swim.
I feel vaguely unwell now.
Lovely interaction there. Surely a spot will be awarded on that basis alone
Nah, he awards spots based on the poster.
Thatâs good swimminâ
Who: Louis Walsh
Where: Arrivals Hall, Dublin Airport
When: Tuesday 26th May, approx. 22:15
Any Other Business: Louis seemed in jovial mood and was posing for a photo with some bird wearing a sash (not the sash my father wore type). I wasnât in the form to hang around and watch events unfold as Iâd been up since 4:30 that morning and was keen to get home.

Weâre in Flatty. Weâve made it.
Phew, I had a feeling heâd see sense and for once do the right thing.

Weâll take half a spot each.
Fair play to @flattythehurdler , he engaged with the Celeb. Not like most spotters on here who probably wet themselves when they see an Indo hack walking over Baggot Street bridge.
Are you suggesting he is the father?
I walked past Yvonne from Fair City on South Lotts Road, Dublin 4 on Friday lunchtime but made no attempt to interact with her.
Who: John Hartson
Where: OâDonoghues pub
John was in last night for a couple of drinks. He posed for a photo with the barman but apart from that he was allowed to enjoy his pint.
Did you wet yourself, mate?
Just got a little dose of heavy cock
