Celebrity Deaths - 2016

Caroline Aherne RIP.

Did some great work in her day.

Very funny woman. Sad news

Wasnt she a raging alco?

Very sad news about Caroline Aherne. Brilliant comedian.

They’re saying cancer

I think I heard some time ago that she had been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Ah that’s terrible news, a really talented person. 52 is no age at all, God bless her. R.I.P.

Yeah, I love the Royle Family. Box set goes on holidays with us every year and is already in the case for a flight on Monday. Sad to hear that she has died

Hollywood Director Gary Marshall has died at the age of 81.

Not only famous for directing huge worldwide hits such as Beaches, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, The Princess Diaries, as well as the likes of Overboard and Frankie & Johnny. He worked up to this year with the dreaful Mothers Day, but the chicks liked it, so there’s that.

Then of course there was his TV work, his fingerprints are over The Dick Van Dyke Show, Laverne & Shirley and The Odd Couple. But he was most famously know for his creating classics such as Happy Days, and Mork & Mindy.

He acted as well, with cameo’s all across the board, most notably as Walter Harvey in A League of their Own and a recurring role on Murphy Brown.

RIP

Gary had jumped the shark a long time ago but happy days and mork were classics
