Never bent, never wavered, never conquered. RIP to the great Fidel Castro. How great it must have been for him to see Trump elected and America finally doomed. This undoubtedly was the final urge to stop clinging to a life that has outlived 6 American presidents and survived 600 assassination attempts.
He made Cuba most self sufficient country in the world. They have highest literacy rates in the world, one of the top health care systems, no crime or homelessness. And he also conquered imperialism in his spare time. He stood up for the little guys too when it was unfashionable to do so.

Highest literacy in the world? Where can the Cubans who live in a country resembling Ireland in the 50s going to cash that cheque?
Parts of his immigration policy while not perfect are difficult to argue with tho, and I’ll be watching with interest to see do any of the know-it-all preachers on here who get all pious on Europe s migrant issue row in behind Fidel with eulogies.
