The first film I ever saw in a cinema was Octopussy, we went to the Isle Of Man for holidays later that day. Moore was a good Bond, not a great Bond. I preferred him as The Saint and in the Persuaders with Tony Curtis, which was tremendous fun. He seemed like a decent man, RIP.

Friend of Presidents and drug dealers alike, Manuel Noriega has died. The former dictator of Panama was 83 and had been in a coma after brain surgery in March. He served his purpose in many ways for George H Bush. He was of course a complete nutter and an absolute shit of a man who tortured and killed many of his countrymen.
Bed of heaven to him.
