Johnny Giles must be shitting himself
I have him too
Your mixing up the white of Leeds and the white of England.
That 1966 team are dropping like flies.
They think it’s all over… It is now
I’m no medical expert but it gets tricky from 75 onwards in fairness. A hape of bangs to the head with big wet heavy oul’ footballs isn’t ideal either.
An auld Chinese flu currently targeting the demographic isn’t helping either
The lovely Kelly Preston has passed away, age 57, after a 2 year battle with breast cancer.
She looked incredible in Twins and was excellent in Jerry Maguire.
Thoughts are with JT and family.
Benjamin Keough, 27, has been found dead in Calabasas near Los Angele. The only son of Lisa Marie Presley, apparent suicide.
They kept it quiet, @locke will be seething he missed out on another tap in. One that, like Jack, we’d be taking away from him.
She was big into the auld Scientology
He was anyway, but it does seem she was being treated by conventional means from reading reports. I believe there was question marks over their son when he died.
Wim Suurbier is dead. Great Ajax and Netherlands player of the 70s.
Mythbusters host Grant Imahara
Some real icons gone today
Jaysus. He’s only a young buck
Brain aneurism apparently
Two giants of the American civil rights movement passed away today, congressman John Lewis after a 6 month battle with cancer and Rev C.T. Vivian of natural causes at age 95. RIP.
I watched Selma recently, a tremendous movie. Lewis was some man who lived an incredible life. May he rest soundly now.
“I have been in some kind of fight – for freedom, equality, basic human rights – for nearly my entire life,” he said at the time. “I have never faced a fight quite like the one I have now.”
“Dr. King famously said ‘the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice’… Our great nation’s history has only bent towards justice because great men like John Lewis took it upon themselves to help bend it. Our nation will never forget this American hero.”
Vivian was misportrayed in the movie, well not portrayed at all really. It was he who got punched in the mouth by the clerk, they had it as King in the movie.
But no less a wonderful movie for it.
