I mentioned here a couple of days before he shuffled off that Gaybo was on his way out. RTÉ staff were working all weekend editing packages etc for a Monday announcement.
I’d say the Finucane one caught them on the hop as they only announced it with more details to follow. Any half-useful journalist/intern should be able to pull plenty of content together in an hour or two

Ah fuck, I always liked Larry. Always had the impression he thought most of what he had to play on the radio was complete shite and he always tried to play as many Irish artists as he could. An alright sort, RIP Larry.
