Brilliantly played by George Cole. Her Indoors! He mentioned her in every show but she never appeared on screen.
Dave The Barman from The Winchester Club was a brilliant character too.

From memory Dennis Waterman was by far the highest paid of the two and very much the star. George Cole was a washed up film actor. But he stole the show every time. You’d only have to look at him and you’d laugh.
