rumours is and was a seminal album, especially when you know the background of the making of the album. on one hand she wrote a lovely song to john mcvie about not being sad about the demise of their marriage (dont stop) and on the other hand there’s a song about how much funs shes having now banging one of the sound guys (you make loving fun).
