I don’t think relations were the best between them. I used to work with an auld fella who was a drinking buddy of Kennys, he hadnt much good to say about Shortt.

That’s a pity. They were a perfect duo.
Kenny was the writer I would think as you could tell from Shorts solo stuff. But Pat was a brilliant foil to him.
Very sad.
I’d say they were the first comedy act I ever saw.
Their stuff probably resonated even more with the North Munster contingent given you could probably put a name of a person in your town to every character they had, right down to the accent.
