He’s 101 now. Was interviewed on Second Captains today. No issues with his memory anyway. Good interview
Friday evening waiting on the food delivery so I go down a youtube rabbit hole of old European competition final goals. Gets to Steaua v Barca in 86 so I go and watch the full penalty shootout and marvel at Helmut Duckadam like I did watching it live at 8 years of age.

Hackman’s wife is believed to have died on February 11th, Hackman himself on February 18th. When did the news come out about their deaths, February 26th was it? That’s eight days. Remember that fella in Hamburg or somewhere who lay dead for five years whose skeleton was found sitting in a chair with the Christmas lights still running?
I find it unlikely any of his children lived in Sante Fe, New Mexico. America is a big country. Humans do not contact each other all the time.
What happeend says literally nothing about anybody except that it’s all very sad.
Literally every human alive has to face the possibility that if they’re very unlucky, something terrible like this could happen to them at the end of their life.
