He drew some unbelievable players to Rome, a real players man. He probably kept the system a little too simple (4-4-2) with England alright, but bar 2002, they went out on pens the other times iirc.
He was a great swordsman in his day

Weathers is a true legend of an iconic era of movies. He had a lovely return in recent years with his role on The Mandalorian where he also directed a number of episodes. He seemed to be really enjoying himself from some interviews I watched.
