Best individuals or best team? If it’s best individuals I’d agree with your midfield pairing but as 2 central players in a 4-4-2 I’m not sure it works.

That game today proved what a good player McGeady is by the way and why he should be ahead of Maloney now. He created the first goal, scored the second and put Miller clean through for a third. He was the difference between the sides when he came on and he changed the game completely. I didn’t disagree with the selection of Maloney ahead of him really until now - Maloney was playing very well a few weeks ago - but now McGeady is playing much better again and deserves his place back.
Great game today and we did well to come back from the death. I think Bobo and McManus together are diving in too much, both of them go off their feet and every opportunity and Balde could easily have been sent off today. Midfield weren’t great with McGeady obviously adding something when he was introduced. Jarosik looked better up front than in the middle. Lennon played well in patches but I’d have taken him off and brought Riordan on near the end just to go for it.
Looking at the Hibs star duo of Brown and Thomson I hate saying this in case we sign one and the huns sign one and you don’t know who will end up where but from that look Thomson looked the better player to me.
Really enjoyed that game today, one of the best I’ve seen this season. They play some great stuff but they’re a bit brittle mentally so even when it went 2-0 I still thought we had a chance. McGeady was the difference between keeping the unbeaten run going or getting beaten, that was a smashing cameo from the bhoy. Agreed that he should be ahead of Shaun now. I was very impressed with both Thomson and Brown but Brown really is a hun so I’d have to take Thomson ahead of him. Both Strachan’s subs score so he takes a bit of credit again but I disagreed with his team selection again. I wouldn’t have had Magic in there to be honest.
