Celtic Non-Matchday Discussion

Some amount of tickets floating about for it!

I only got notification off the ticket officer today that I got them. Bit sickened that the GB aren’t going to be there, it’ll be like a funeral. Which is ironic cause the club annual mass is the night before in Calton.

Has to be Hassan Duran Osmand as our starting attack at the weekend with Forrest, Mhueka and Jota off the bench.

Hogh and Tounekti need bombed out of the team to give them a kick up the arse.

Sorenson and Lotomba should have played their last minutes for Celtic now.

Emenalo hopefully will come straight into contention at the weekend.

I would say the following players should be out the door in January:

Sam Johnstone (loan termination)
Ralston (loan/sale)
Murray (loan/sale)
Lotomba (contract termination - if Ralston stays)
Sorenson (loan termination)
McCowan (sale)
Tounekti (loan/sale)

And we need

1 x starting GK
1 x starting CB
1 x backup CB
1 x starting DM
1 x backup DM
1 x backup RW

That’s the minimum, we may also need an AJ replacement if he decides to go.

We’d be far better off with some of the young guys like McArdle or Kennedy over McCowan and Sorenson or Hatton over Tounekti. At least these guys will play with a bit of fight and passion.

It’s all kinda moot while these cunts are running the club.

MON is out of his depth though but he’s only there because he devalues himself so much so that he is willing to be a mudguard for the board.

Just on a general note tonight.

The absolute mess our club is in is probably no better defined than the pathways for our youth players.

We have Ralston on the bench tonight. We have a captain who is the biggest liability in the club and we brought on a 35 year old James Forrest as our 1st sub.

The only two academy graduates who are worth their salt at the club are Tierney and Donovan. The rest are past it or nowhere near good enough. Ralston, Forrest, McCowan, Murray, Doohan just add so little to the club but pick up wages of 3-4m a year…don’t even get me started on McGregor.

We don’t trust our youth players. You look at English clubs, they throw their 17/18/19 year old players in. We don’t. We hang on to backup right backs, 4th choice centre backs, 33 and 35 year old finished players to give boxes when we should be giving the best 17/18/19 year olds the chance to prove themselves.

Forrest should have been released in the summer and Hatton should have been given the few chances to see if he can make it.

He likely won’t but maybe Pullan can step up next year.

McGregor should have gone but he didn’t and Kennedy or Ure should have been given the chances to see if they’re up to it.

Donovan only got a chance last year due to AJ and Ralston being injured. Otherwise he likely would still be playing B team and you can see the improvement in him in that time.

Surely the minutes McCowan gets would be far more appropriate to give to McArdle who might grow and develop
