I’d say if/when they win one, the brakes will be hit in a major way. The investor lads have converted £30m in loans into shares in the last few years.
I don’t really think we need Wanyama in any case. We already have the likes of Rogic who can’t get a sniff. I’m quite content with the squad as it is currently and don’t think there can be any excuses for Lennon if the title isn’t delivered.
Another centre back is the only addition that I feel may be needed before the deadline shuts.

Few comments on Shved then from Lennon yesterday. Struggling with the language and taking longer to settle etc which is affecting his performances in training. Doesn’t sound too encouraging for his prospects.
Yeah saw those changes and the Shved comments. I thought the way he said other players would probably have adapted better by now was telling too.
Sky have apologised now and released a transcript of the interview which contains no allegations of racism against Celtic. In fact it comes across as an attempt by the interviewer to encourage Morelos to claim he was racially abused at Celtic Park but he doesn’t follow their lead

In the top 6 split It looks like celtic should play all other potential top 6 teams at home as their last encounter was away. …apparently this situation has never arisen before… Obviously this can’t happen so Who will decide which teams they play at home?
There is always an imbalance. They can’t predict who will finish in the top 6 so it ends up with teams playing more home or away games against certain opposition. But sticking to the 19 games at home, 19 games away rule.
Celtic will get 3 home games and 2 away games, meaning they will play two of Livingston, Hibs or Motherwell away 3 times. (The flip side is Celtic will only have had to play Hearts away once and probably Kilmarnock away once - assuming Kilmarnock don’t make the top 6. They were both “seeded” to finish in the top 6 in the fixture list).

McNamara was a tremendous player in the hoops, very shabbily treated in the end, hope he recovers well.

It’s a pity that we won’t win the mythical nine and ten in a row now, but health of the population comes first.
The season isn’t a complete write off though. We’ll always have that magical day in December when Forster repelled the huns on his own in the League Cup Final.
