Nope but apparently two EPL loanees doing medicals in London.
Name names, bro.
I see Paul Hanlon of Hibs being mentioned now. We must be getting towards the bottom of our list.
STV are reporting that we had 3 bids for Tomlin rejected by Peterborough today - 1 while they were playing. That mouthy Irish guy that owns them has tweeted that he supported Celtic up to today, but not any longer.

No more arrivals just been declared.
Main ins/outs:
Out: Wilson, Wanyama, Hooper, McCourt, Watt (loan).
In: van Dijk, Mouyokolo, Biton, Boerrigter, Pukki, Balde.
Have I forgotten anyone?
We probably haven’t strengthened the squad. On the one hand, we have qualified for the Champions League group stages again and should be capable of challenging Caley Thistle for the title.
But I can’t help thinking another 2 or 3 signings would have made us genuine Champions League contenders.
Edit: Forgot Balde.
I find it a little bit amusing that we were drawn with Barcelona, Milan and Ajax on Thursday and today we’ve had a series of bids for this tubber from Peterborough rejected.

Celtic signed 18-year old German goalkeeper Max Oberschmidt on a 6-month loan deal from Fulham late last night. He’ll provide back up to Forster and Zaluska.
Tony Watt’s loan has been confirmed as a season long deal.

@mickee321 - can you buy me the red and yellow FC Ashdod jersey please?
no prob
ill send it over with the annual membership fee that is due by 16 sepetember per rocko’s mail
Ashdod recovered well from the loss of Biton and shocked Maccabi Haifa tonight beating them 3-2, i think that’s the first defeat for Haifa since last feburary, obviosuly not including their AET cup semi final loss against Ironi Kiryat Shmona in april

Have we submitted our CL squad list?
I hope so or I think we’re fucked.
Any chance you’d find who is on it?
With the A squad and the B squad, I doubt there’s anyone excluded.
A lazy answer but informative nonetheless.
@Rudi, did you read any of Neil Lennon’s interviews with the Sunday papers. He absolutely castigated you.

@Rocko can we amend the title of this thread to cater for general Celtic FC discussion?
Milan, who we play on Tuesday are suffering a bit of a defensive injury crisis right now with De Sciglio and Silvestre undergoing knee surgeries this week and Abate also being injured on international injury. They join Bonera and Vhergara on the injury list.
I don’t think Biton has received clearance to play against Hearts yet, can anyone confirm?
@Rudi, I have no information on Biton but I understand Mouyokolo has ruptured his achilles. Nasty injury, that could be his time at Celtic over pretty much before it began if he’s only signed a 1-year deal.
That leaves us a little light at centre half. I presume that Mulgrew will (hopefully) now play more football in defence.
Yes, Neil Lennon may be less likely to shoehorn him into midfield and it could work in our favour. We’re a little light with Ambrose, Van Dijk and then both Mulgrew and Lustig are relatively comfortable there.
I presume it will be our 4-4-1-1 in Milan. Commons behind Stokes and Sammy and Forrest on the wings. Big choice will revolve around the fullbacks. I’d go with Mulgrew and Lustig, wouldn’t mind seeing Matthews get the nod ahead of Forrest on the right wing either but I feel that is unlikely.
Mouyokolo out for 6 months with ruptured achilles.
