This is probably the 10th summer in a row that McFadden has been linked with a move to Celtic by the same lazy journalists.
Lennon is speaking to the media at the moment. He has confirmed that Celtic accepeted a bid from Southampton for Wanyama and the decision was with his representatives but people seemed determined to block the deal. He said the deal was financially right for Celtic but he has no idea if it will resurrect itself now.
I can also confirm that we will be taking triallist Stephen Mouyokolo (French centre back: ex Hull, then Wolves, injured for a good while) on our pre-season tour of Germany.
Also, Lennon confirming we received a bid from Hull for Hooper which was well below our valuation and was rejected.

Barry Bannan was released by Aston Villa the other day. Few message boards are divided on his potential value but I’d be happy to see him join on a free. He’s a fan anyway. No proper media links anywhere but for a free transfer he’d be worth a look and he has that bit of creativity we could always do with.
Hasn’t been released Rocko but has been told he can find a new club. His 20k a week wages seem to be the stumbling block to getting rid of him.
Ah right, well we won’t be giving him 20k a week anyway. So I guess it’s down to whether he wants to take a pay cut to get first team football or get a bit frozen out at Villa.
The money he is on is ridiculous. He was signed on that contract by Houllier when he was showing good potential but he hasn’t developed his game at all since. He is a very technical player with a good eye for the ‘hollywood’ pass but for me he gives the ball away far too cheaply. I could see the club letting him go on a free just to get the wages off the books.

I’ve only seen portions of the game on stream. Anyone impressed lads? I though Fisher looked reasonable at right back? How have Balde, Henderson and the two centre backs done?
Centre backs looked decent enough. Baldé has been mixed but got involved and created a few changes through his physical presence. Yeah Fisher has been decent. Henderson started well enough but faded before being replaced. Kayal has been the best player for me.

Ah it was unadulterated shite. Nobody impressed. Ten minutes’ injury time. 
Mouyokolo has agreed a one year deal and will sign if his medical comes back clear.
Lovely stuff, that should be us set in defence, although I’d like to get another left back in. I’d also wouldn’t mind getting shot of Ambrose and getting in another centre half but I’d be reasonably happy to go as we are.
