Marchetti has turned Celtic down and says he wants to remain in Serie A. Not too bothered about this as I don’t think he’s up to much and I certainly wouldn’t have had him as back up to Buffon during the summer. Decent shot stopper but never comes off his line and that’s a major flaw given that coming out and dealing with crosses / punts / hoofs is one of the main goalkeeping attributes required in the SPL.
