Young Montgomery has been positionally a little suspect at times but has made some great defensive contributions and done well in getting forward.

We looked like conceding every time they came forward for 10 minutes after half time. But we ended up seeing it out relatively well.
Agreed on Montgomery. Thought he stood up to that bhoyfully. A great effort from him.

That was some tie.
Great resilience in the end. Thought we were really good for the last half hour. They only had that one real chance in thst period. Starfelt had an excellent last 20 minutes. Not very composed at the back but Welsh and Starfelt and Ralston all won some great balls in the last spell. And Montgomery was inexperienced but made a couple of great interventions and kept looking to go forward.
Edouard made a big difference and Christie ran and ran and ran. Even Abada who looked like he had faded a bit finished strongly.
Big punch by Hart near the end too and one good save in each half (one to his right and one to his left) that somewhat compensates for his error. Thinking about the mistake again I think he was expecting the ball to continue into the box and that’s why he delayed.

I’d start Christie. Probably instead of Forrest. Very harsh on Abada too who has been involved in so many goals. And not sure if Kyogo is as comfortable on the right as on the left.
I’ve no idea yet is my conclusion. But I’d to see all those players involved over the 90 minutes.
I just think the derby could be a wee bit of a culture shock for Abada just now.
Celtic should get at Rangers . I saw 20 minutes of Rangers game tonight and their two centre backs are as slow as a wet week in Ballybunion
I know we dropped down from CL qualifiers but AZ are a good and settled side and it’s pretty impressive achievement to get the better of them given it’s so early in Ange’s reign and the shit show he walked into.
