I’d be considering Edouard for Abada.
Settled a little again towards the end of the half. They’d be beyond frustrated by now if we hadn’t thrown away those two goals. Even if it was just the first one they’d be getting concerned. But they have the crowd behind them and are going to keep attacking. Just hope we can pick them off like the first goal and release our pace in behind.
Midfield three need to be tidier on the ball too. Rogic has shown good strength a few times but played a few loose passes. McGregor had struggled to get on the ball and I think he’s covering Montgomery a bit now as the half has gone on. Wonder if we’d bring on Soro for one of Rogic or Turnbull and get some help screening inside which would allow the full backs to push wider. But I think Ange wants them to start inside the whole time and just push out to the ball.

Clearly that is 90% Hart’s fault for the first goal and he was trying to pin it on Welsh.

Absolutely. Welsh got caught in two minds but it wasn’t even a mildly dangerous situation. Don’t know what Hart was thinking at all. At least be made a save after. He has more character than the other keepers at least

They’ve expended a lot of energy in hunting us down and pressing hard. As you say, and it’s stating the obvious, you need to keep them at bay and hope they’ve emptied themselves halfway through the second half. Then pick them off and finish the tie. But I couldn’t say with any confidence that will happen. It could as easily finish 5-1 or 3-3 on the night. The concern is the individual mistakes at the back and how we’ve looked so shaky when they’ve pressurised us as we’ve tried to play out.
Aberdeen on the way out. St Johnstone still 0-0 in their tie so we may have to split the Conf League TV money with them if we go into that.
