Johansen hits the post.
JJJJJJJJJJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Think that came from a great Bitton tackle. Anyway it ended up with Virgil at the edge of the box and he smashed one which McGovern could only parry. Johansen beat Guidetti in the race to tap home the rebound.
Canning does very well to block a Commons shot from point blank range. Johansen and Matthews worked the overlap very well for that move. Opening them up easily now.
Van Dijk is playing as a #10 here. Another great shot from Virgil which McGovern saved well and then he did really well to save a follow up effort from Matthews.
GGGGGGGGUUUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIi
Just posting so you don’t feel lonely Rocko
Lovely flowing move ends with a nice ball from Armstrong to Izzy who plays an inch perfect cross to Guidetti to head home from 5 yards.
Henderson on for Johansen now.
CCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSS
Van Dijk the creator again. Strides forward, plays it to Matthews who squared to Commons and Commons fell over and scuffed his shot completely but it still found the corner.
Meanwhile back on planet Ireland, Dubs are beating Kilkenny by 7pts at Nowlan Park.
thnks for the updates rocko

I really like that third goal. Bitton is always very positive with his passing. Often turns down the safe square pass to thread a more risky one through. Incisive pass by Armstrong out to Izaguirre after that and lovely cross onto Guidetti’s head.
Does Bitton’s play this season (both in covering ground and cutting things out and knitting the play together) along with his demeanour remind any of you bhoys of that horrible cunt Sergio Busquets?

That third goal had actually started on the left side. You can see Virgil at the bottom of the picture - he’d already switched it from left to right before the clip starts when we move it back left. We did that a few times today - and did it against Inter the other night. A big switch at the start to get them all moving one direction and then sharp passing to move the ball into the space they’ve vacated.
