A few blow-ins to the SPL topics have the tone of this topic all wrong. All negativity is to be aimed at the huns and the British Army. Petty sniping is very EPL Lancashire fanboyish.

I’ve been a rangers fan since 1994
One of my criticisms of Lennon has been shoehorning players into the team, out of position. For example, Christie upfront in the defeat to Ferencvaros and McGregor left back in the Cluj qualifier loss last year. It seems he wanted to retain 3 at the back after the huns had some success against us last year when we played 4-2-3-1. At least this time he’s starting players that are suited to 3 at the back, so giving him my backing here.

As I said yesterday, it’s a big ask of Frimpong and Laxalt but if they can occupy the huns wingers and full backs because of their pace and attacking ability then it allows us to overload midfield more with Elyounoussi dropping back to help. It’s a big ask though and much depends on whether we need our wide centre backs (presumably Ajer on the right and Welsh on the left) to cover the flanks.

I thought they were delighted with Balogun so far but he’s lost out to Helander. Davis instead of Jack, Barker instead of Hagi and Aribo is on the bench too.

A few surprises there, especially Barker and Jack not playing. I think Jack had been injured before the international break but played one of the Scotland games - they seem to have been talking him up a lot over the last 12-18 months.
