Lustig, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre,
Matthews, Brown, Mulgrew,
Commons, Pukki, Stokes.
Forrest replaced Matthews early on after that animal Keith Lasley hacked down the Welshman. Seemed a fairly serious shoulder injury.
A goal of stunning quality by Stokes and Celtic are playing very well.
Van Dijk has been excellent again. Stormed forward and played Commons in for a missed one on one.
Pukki’s touch and link ups with Stokes have been very good too.

still breaking up lads after all these years…what a character…
Tremendous individual goal by Commons. He dinked it over the keeper after going on a mazy run and nutmegging Stephen McManus.
Van Dijk on the rampage again going by 4 before a last ditch block. Forrest’s effort saved by the keeper’s legs following an Ambrose surge forward and Pukki fizzes one narrowly wide. This is very enjoyable stuff. We’ll get £9m for Van Dijk in 2 years from Stoke or someone.
Forster made a sensational save to preserve the 2-0 lead with about 5 minutes to go. But 2-0 at full time is very unflattering to Celtic. We were really rampant today. Ambrose and Van Dijk bringing the ball out from the back and surging forward, Izzy bombing on, Brown and Mulgrew in charge in midfield, Commons probing between the lines and Stokes and Pukki combining well upfront. A very entertaining display and Celtic go top with Caley Thistle taking a hiding in Perth.
Probable fractured collarbone for Adam Matthews, according to Neil Lennon post-match. Looking at a 2-3 month injury lay-off. Bad news indeed.
Ah that’s dreadful news. With our midfield injury problems we don’t really have Mulgrew as full back cover at the moment, albeit on the other side anyway. And since Mouyokolo got injured we can’t really let Ambrose cover out wide. Lustig seems to only last 70 minutes or so in European games usually.
