I think it’s a very good place we’re in right now, we are putting wins on the board and we have a lot of players to come back in. Great to have Tierney back today.

The third goal
Only concern for me today was how poor Toljan looked defensively. He was exposed a few times today.
But Henderson looked really good, Bitton looked composed on his return. And Edouard was very good.
The fourth goal
I’m not sure there’s any option to sign Toljan, but he’s been disappointing in the last few games. He got destroyed by their winger today. I don’t think he’s the answer anyway.
That’s the first domestic goal Bain’s conceded this season and it came from what was effectively cheating.
We looked tired and vulnerable for a while at 2-1 due to the mix of Thursday’s exertions with 10 men, injuries and players flagging on their return from injury.
But Edouard’s second goal, along with his play to win the free kick, was superb. Great goal by Burke too.
Henderson was excellent throughout and looks a tremendous prospect.

Bitton went off injured. He may miss another few games now.
Just seemed to be cramp though.
